Seeking a Finance Assistant to join an industry leading Fitout and Refurbishment company based in North Sydney.
With 25 years’ experience in the industry our client is a leading Fitout and Refurbishment company. They specialise in office interiors but also cover sectors such as hospitality, industrial, medical and retail fitouts. The business is made up of a young, contemporary team who work closely together to deliver innovative spaces.
Due to their growing success they are seeking a Finance Manager to join the team and work along side the Accounts Manager. Your duties will include; accounts payable and receivable, contractor payments and progress claims, payroll administration, profit and loss reporting, superannuation, BAS, GST and PAYG. When necessary you will also assist with any other business functions and contribute to improving any accounts policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you must have prior experience working in the design/construction industry and poses the following skills and experience:
· Advanced knowledge of MYOB
· Knowledge of Xero highly regarded
· Knowledge of construction insurance
· Client/supplier/contractor liaison
· Sound skills in Microsoft Office
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· A great attitude and a team player
