Opera Australia is looking for an experienced and all-rounder IT Services Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This position, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, will create, support, and maintain the company’s IT user services to a high standard. Whilst managing the company’s primarily outsourced IT team, this position will also strive to improve and maintain a highly reliable IT services infrastructure, which will include the design and implementation of IT strategies, provision of highly reliable IT services to internal and external users, identifying and controlling IT business risks, controlling the IT budget for the maintenance of infrastructure, services, and hardware/software, and maintaining a very high level of service delivery from our outsourced service partners. This role will also maintain quality service by enforcing organisational standards and agreed service levels, and additionally assist with all IT support requirements as required on a day to day basis.
Our ideal candidate will possess a high level of experience in managing an organisation’s IT systems and infrastructure, including the management of internal/external staff. You will be highly proficient in strategic planning, SAAS and IAAS products, disaster recovery, technical and customer services management, IT technical requirements, budget management, and IT support/problem solving. We are looking for someone who is well-rounded in their knowledge and services of IT requirements, who can manage the department effectively and implement innovative solutions.
